Installing Dokeos Manually

Hi,

is there any way I can install Dokeos manually, I'm having a problem when I get to step No.4 the mysql installation.

My Host only allowes me to install one database at a time.

Please Help I could not find an answer to this problem.

Sure. You can install Dokeos through the shell. Command line.

I'll give it a try (never used shell) but I'll take it step by step

I love Dokeos so much that I MUST install it.

I wish the devlopers could fix the MySQL issue on step No. 4, it seemst I'm not the only one facing this issue.

Ok. Yes. We know now that MySQL Step 4 is an issue if shared server one db. Should be fixed in Dokeos 2.1.2.

Good news. It is already fixed. There is a quick patch by Isaac and this patch will be integrated in 2.1.2 (maybe renamed 2.2).
